Bound in later half cloth hard binding. --- A very interesting print of "The Saying of the Fathers" printed in Berlin or Altona for the North African Communitees of the Maghreb Contries: Algier, Tunis and Marocco. Normally the Hebrew printing for the Orient and North Africa at that time was done in Livorno and Vienna or other more South Europaean cities and only very rare the printing was done as far north as Altona. The book has in the beginning 6 pages of subscription with hundreds of names from members of communitees in places as Algier, Balada, Almadio, Oran, Mustaga and Gibraltar. The initative of printing of this scarce booklet was taken by Kapan Onriq of Paris. --- For the first time ever was the Commentary of Rabenu Yona (? -1263) on Pirke Avot published by Simḥah Dolitzki of Byelostok here. --- RARE -- FIRST EDITION.
